There is little more as luxurious as an amazingly gorgeous garden party at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. We needed the décor to be as beautiful and aspirational as the beauty maven herself! The legendary Sonya Dakar celebrated 30 years this spring, and we were honored to design and plan a memorable event.

On a blush pink backdrop, bullion laser-cut letters spelled out the namesake beauty brand. Lush greenery and florals in muted tones – which complemented the perfectly manicured landscaping of the property – embellished the structure. Sonya Dakar motifs were affixed to glossy white pedestals that had been topped off with beauty products, vases of flowers and herbs, and fresh fruit – both of which are found in some of the featured items.

The pièce de résistance was the grand display settled in the center of the water fountain. Metal letters spelling out “Sonya Dakar” bedecked an acrylic sign placed in front of a stunning floral masterpiece, which looked as if it was freshly picked out of the surrounding gardens. A large gold vessel held a mixture of verdure, roses, ranunculuses, and more in shades of white, blush, and pink.

The fare for the day kept in theme with the organic vibe. Along with fruit-infused cocktails paired with fun ingredient stories, a popular choice amongst attendees was the fresh cubes of colorful sashimi carefully arranged in martini glasses. They were as vibrant as they were tasty! Revelers mingled, swayed to tunes played by Herick, noshed on decadent treats, and enjoyed generous giveaways before the presentation commenced.

Additional arrangements of blossoms were sprinkled throughout the aisleway that led to the seating area, where guests found their seats on plush ivory chairs with high backs. A stage was setup with white-cushioned stools for a panel of industry speakers, as well as the guest of honor. Onlookers especially enjoyed the sentimental montage, which highlighted the celebrity beauty expert’s favorite moments with beloved clients.

A bright-white station was also created for Sonya to hand-engrave bottles of her 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Organic Omega Booster. Florals, Granny Smith apples, avocados, chamomile, flax seed, and fragrant lavender were arranged in vases to help illustrate the natural ingredients found within the signature product line. This particular nook of the alfresco space felt special, surrounded by the tall trees and shrubs of the venue, making it the ideal backdrop for the pop-up.

We loved being a part of this memorable occasion. We were so happy to carryout an event that showcased the dynamic and innovative work that Sonya Dakar is known for in such a lovely way!
