Mia's Two Sweet Candyland Birthday Celebration

Mia’s 2nd Birthday was simply a burst of happiness! The Candy Land theme left so much room for creativity, and it all turned out amazing. We created different areas within the outdoor space of Lido House that each had their own unique take on the color story. An all-white ball pit was filled with white balls, along with a sprinkle of hot pink balls for a pop of color and a super-cool monochromatic jumper was also present for kids’ entertainment; it was framed with numerous balloon garlands in punchy shades. This entire space was fenced in and made of all soft materials, so that even younger children could play independently while staying safe.

A much-needed addition to any children’s party: a section for the grownups where they can still monitor their children. In this case, we arranged a charming section of the yard specifically carved out for parents who wanted to relax and mingle, while being close enough to tend to their little ones when needed. Cream sofas from Create Event Design were setup, as well as velvet pale pink versions. The combination mixed well with the marble-top tables decorated with fresh roses, hydrangeas, and lisianthus blooms in shades of pink, lavender, and sunny yellow. Panels of billowing fabric in a tint of rose were suspended overhead to provide shade.

The “Mia is Two Sweet” dessert bar was a delicious feast in every sense. Scrumptious donuts and an impressive three-tiered cake by Belladonna Sweets were on display. However, partygoers were first encouraged to enjoy the exquisite fare set up inside the venue. Slices of prime rib and seafood selections were offered, as well as bite-sized options of grilled cheese sandwiches and burger sliders for little ones on the go.

A photo booth was also available to guests so that they could take personal photographs to commemorate the special day. An incredibly eye-catching display of balloons was formed into an arch with a large sign that read: Mia is Two Sweet. The groupings of balloons were arranged by color and formed an ombré effect. Loved how this turned out because it made the room look as delightful as it felt in the room! It made for the “sweetest” photo opps for groups and family members, and the perfect spot for Mia when everyone sang “Happy Birthday” to the birthday girl.
