An 80's Dream Slumber Party Weekend

One of our beloved clients wanted the ultimate 80s-themed birthday slumber party to celebrate her daughter’s 12th birthday. And though she would like to keep most of the details private, she did allow us to share just a bit with you guys! The children had a blast noticing all the details of the neon décor scheme, such as an entrance of neon lighted arches sprinkled with Pac-Man characters leading to the custom-built arcade.

The birthday girl and friends had hosted pool activities, spa services from Monliet Art Services and My Mystic Mane, dinner, karaoke machines, movies on big screens, treats from Barts Carts and Pan n Ice, followed by breakfast the next morning in a theme of The Breakfast Club. The dinner table was set with charger plates topped with 80s sunglasses and Slinkies used as napkin holders holding a bright-green linen napkin, a runner of fresh florals by Peony Secret all arranged in punchy colors of the rainbow, and teal cushioned seating from Create Event Design. All the pops of color were so beautiful! The tablescapes simply looked like happiness.

Guests were also able to take part in customizing their shoes with help from Paris Jordan “Dezine Dope” and take interactive photos using the technology from LX Pix. Gaby’s Balloons were a big help in decorating, as the Wife of the Party team focused on design, coordination, décor, lighting, and fabrication. A clear tent bedecked with fairy lights was setup for the alfresco slumber party where sofas and beds were arranged with custom pillows, glittery bedding, and other vibrant designs draped over oversized, plush ottomans. It was an absolute 80s dream come true!
