Behind the Bubbles: Korbel Champagne at the Long Beach Grand Prix

This past spring, Korbel Champagne popped onto the scene at the 2025 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach with a high-energy, high-impact activation that made the champagne brand impossible to miss. Designed to blend luxury with racetrack excitement, the installation was a clever mix of elegance and edge — a true behind-the-scenes look at what happens when branding meets bold creative execution.

Korbel California Champagne is the official champagne of the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach. It’s a long-standing tradition for the winners of the race to celebrate in the winner’s circle with a victorious spray of Korbel. In fact, Korbel has proudly partnered with the Grand Prix for 24 years, making their presence an iconic part of race weekend.

The Wife of the Party designed and produced the activation, creating a space that was designed to feel both exclusive and approachable. Custom checkered-pattern umbrellas gave a nod to racing without losing the brand’s classic flair. A striking “champagne tower” shimmered with chilled bottles of Korbel, ready for photo ops and toasts alike.

One of the standout branding moments was the oversized signage that spelled out “KORBEL” in gleaming letters, mounted above a bold base that read “Clink Clink” — a playful, memorable nod to the sound of celebration and Korbel’s bubbly personality. It became the ultimate backdrop for selfies, boomerangs, and celebratory cheers over the weekend, which we loved!

From branded champagne flutes to cheeky signage, every detail was designed to surprise and delight. Chic, spirited, and endlessly Instagrammable — Korbel brought the bubbles, and the vibe.
