Twisters Premiere at the Historic Saban Theater
When Hollywood meets high winds, you know it’s going to be a Wife of the Party production. For the Twisters movie premiere, we transformed the iconic Saban Theater into a cinematic whirlwind, complete with immersive experiences, custom decor, and a storm of energy that swept guests right into the action.
As guests arrived, they stepped through a LED-lit tunnel that pulsed like lightning, leading them straight into the heart of the storm — the grand foyer of the historic theater. At the center, a real tornado simulator gave guests the rare chance to feel the full force of Mother Nature and get them excited to view the movie. The wind, the lights, the roar — it was an unforgettable way to kick off the night and attendees loved it.
Around the foyer, custom concession stands and merchandise giveaway stations kept the crowd buzzing, while the Wife of the Party team worked its magic to make every corner feel straight out of the film. Wife of the Party sourced authentic airplane parts, car fragments, and tumbleweeds to design an immersive 360° photo booth and storm-chaser-worthy photo opps, making it feel less glamorous and more gritty and cinematic to match the movie.
Inside the theater, guests settled in for the highly anticipated screening. Once the lights dimmed, guests took their seats inside the Saban to watch the highly anticipated film. But the night didn’t end when the credits rolled — the crowd was treated to an electrifying live performance by Tanner Adell, whose country-meets-pop energy was the perfect exclamation point on a thrilling evening. Her song was one of many from country artists on the Twisters soundtrack.
The result was an unforgettable fusion of film, music, and creative design that celebrated the thrill of storytelling in true Hollywood fashion — the Wife of the Party way!
