This Hollywood restaurant was the perfect example of how any venue, no matter how familiar or functional, can be elevated into a fully immersive event environment. What began as a standard dining space was transformed into a luxe, high-impact celebration through thoughtful design, layered textures, and fabulous intentional lighting.

The foundation of the transformation began with custom fabric draping, installed floor to ceiling. Luxe textiles created instant warmth and elegance, allowing the space to feel intimate and completely removed from its everyday identity. Draping doesn’t just decorate; it reshapes how a room is experienced, and here it set the tone for everything that followed.

Next came a carefully curated lighting design, one of the most powerful tools in any transformation. Strategic uplighting and ambient washes highlighted the draping and added depth. Lighting was used not just to illuminate, but to guide the eye and make it interesting, setting the mood, and ensuring the room felt dynamic from every angle. As the evening progressed, the lighting shifted seamlessly to match the energy of the celebration, proving how impactful this layer can be when done intentionally. I truly do love good lighting!

At the heart of the room, a modern, lighted dance floor became the focal point. Clean, contemporary, and glowing from within, it anchored the design and instantly signaled that this was a space meant for partying! The contrast between the soft draping, dramatic lighting, and sleek dance floor created a balance of elegance and edge, making it one of our favorite design combinations.
